Summary
Results of area calculation in use
The use of geometric data is discussed in
this article. Point quality effects results of
area calculation. According to recent
research a method is implemented to cal
culate the standard deviation of area
objects. An actual project is used to test
the program and to analyze the results.
Significant differences occur between the
traditional digitizing method and the one
presented. The use of quality attributes of
points (precision and idealization) is pro
moted.
