Summary
Once the digital ToplOVector had been completed by the Topogra
phic Survey, its geometry formed the foundation for the Land Use
Base of Statistics Netherlands. Functional codes have been ported to
the digital geometry of ToplOVector. Especially the automatic detec
tion of slivers, small areal features along the borders of polygons,
has contributed to a successful completion of this process.
