Samenvatting
Hergebruik van overheidsinformatie
De nieuwe Europese richtlijn voor het hergebruik van overheidsin
formatie probeert via harmonisatie van de voorschriften en praktij
ken in de Europese lidstateneen interne Europese markt tot stand
te brengen die ondernemingen beter in staat stelt om de mogelijk
heden van overheidsinformatie te benutten. Nederland voldoet gro
tendeels aan de richtlijn. Om het hergebruik nog meer te stimuleren
zou er binnen de overheid gewerkt moeten worden aan de imple
mentatie van open standaardenaan elektronisch beschikbare in
formatie inclusief gebruiksvoorwaarden, aan een uniformering van
de tariferingsgrondslagen, aan het in orde brengen van de metada
ta, en aan dit alles bij elkaar brengen in een clearinghouse.

Summary
Re-use of public sector information
The new European Directive on the re-use of public sector informa
tion aims to promote the functioning of the internal European mar
ket by harmonizing the provisions for re-use of public sector infor
mation. It gives a minimum set of common rules, which should
create conditions for greater certainty and make it easier to esta
blish Union-wide products. The geo-information sector in the
Netherlands fulfils most of these common rules. However, for the
full promotion of the re-use of public sector information, an invest
ment should be made in metadata documentation, the implemen
tation of open standards, the calculation basis for the price of the
information, and in the national clearinghouse.

La nouvelle directive européenne pour le réemploi de I'information
officielle essaye par une harmonisation des normes et pratiques
dans les pays européens de créer un marché européen interne de

formation par les sociétés. Les Pays-Bas répondent en grandes lig-
