been created. These models acknowledge the
finding that an address can best be regar
ded as an attribute of a residential unit. An
address does not have a location; the resi
dential unit has a location. The model also
makes clear that the inclusion and applica
tion of geometry in the system leads to a
consistent model in which the underlying
relations can be established based on the ge
ometry.

L'article essaie de soutenir ou de réfuter de
fagon mathématique certaines constata-
tions provenant des experimentations nati
onals sur les enregistrements authentiques,
a savoir Vénregistrement des adresses. A cet
ejfet et avec Vaide de techniques Calcula
ting with Conceptsdeux modèles ont été
réalisés. Les modèles confirment les résultats; la meilleure fagon de
considérer une adresse est d'employ er Vunité de domiciliation. Une
adresse n'a pas de localisation, tandis que Vunité de domiciliation
en dispose. Le modèle démontre clairement que Vemploi et Vutilisa
tion de la géométrie dans le système mènent a un modèle consistant,
dans lequel des relations réciproques peuvent être réalisées sur base
de cette géométrie.
