Namens Geo-Informatie Nederland
Satellietbeelden met ruimtelijke resolutie van 50 cm tot 1 km zijn tegenwoordig
alom beschikbaar (bijvoorbeeld Google Earth) en verkrijgbaar tegen redelijke
kosten. Om nuttige informatie over veranderingen in tijdseries van beelden te
ontdekken zijn geavanceerde verwerkingstechnieken noodzakelijk.
Tijdens deze themamiddag zal een aantal sprekers ingaan op verwerkingstechnieken op
het gebied van mutatiesignalering maar ook op de praktische toepassingen van de
informatie die is ingewonnen uit de beelden.
De onderwerpen hebben betrekking op de monitoring van natuurgebieden in Europa,
monitoring van tropische bossen in Zuidoost-Azië, mutatiesignalering in Nederland m.b.v.
hoge resolutie satellietbeelden of luchtfoto's en het monitoren van verkeersdynamiek
m.b.v. videobeelden.
Gezien de belangstelling van niet-Nederlandstaligen voor de themamiddagen van de
GIN-sectie Remote Sensing is de voertaal Engels.
The GIN section remote sensing organises a workshop on remote sensing change detection. Attention
will he paid to techniques and applications of change detection for monitoring of natural parks in
Europe, forest monitoring in south-east Asia, monitoring of urban areas in the Netherlands and
monitoring of traffic dynamics using video imagery. Entrance is free, but registration is necessary.
