Geografiek is een in Utrecht gevestigd kartografisch
bureau. Geografiek ontwerpt en vervaardigt klein
schalige kaarten voor overheden, non-profit organisaties
en uitgeverijen. Geografiek staat bekend om zijn kijk op de
geografische informatie-overdracht, waarbij inhoud voor
vorm gaat. Intensief contact met de opdrachtgever is in dit
ontwerpproces onontbeerlijk. Naast kaarten voor drukwerk
ontwerpt Geografiek ook interactieve kaarten voor het in
ternet. Voor uitgeverij Leopold ontwierp en vervaardigde
Geografiek de kaart 'Waar wonen de menseneters'. De kaart
is gepubliceerd in 'Menseneters', op een formaat van 43 x
25,5 centimeter. Menseneters was de catalogus van een ten
toonstelling in het Haagse museum Museon over de relatie
tussen mensen en roofdieren. Die relatie was niet alleen
een bedreigende, maar ook een mystieke inspiratiebron en
een economische bestaansbron.
