De ANWB geeft een serie van 20 waterkaarten en -atlas
sen uit. De kaarten worden vooral gebruikt door wa
tersporters. Nieuw in het assortiment zijn onder meer de
wateratlassen IJsselmeer en Zeeland. De basistopografie
is gebaseerd op Top 50 vector van de Topografische Dienst
Kadaster. De topografie wordt geactualiseerd met behulp
van Top 10 vector. De watersportinformatie wordt door de
ANWB zelf ingewonnen. Speciaal voor de grote wateren zijn
dieptegegevens van de Hydrografische Dienst toegevoegd.
De kaarten zijn gedrukt op uitvouwvellen opdat plotters
goed over de kaarten kunnen worden gelegd en de juiste
koers kan worden bepaald.
The Dutch Automobile Association (ANWB) publishes a
series of 20 nautical charts and atlases. The charts are
primarily used by leisure boaters. New additions to the
range of publications are the nautical atlases for the IJssel
meer and Zeeland. The base topography is derived from the
Dutch Land Registry Office 1:50.000 scale vector maps. The
topography is updated using the latest 1:10.000 scale maps.
Information pertaining to leisure boating is surveyed by the
Dutch Automobile Association. For the larger water bodies,
bathymetric information is sourced from the Hydrographic
Service. The charts are printed on folding sheets, for plot
ters to be superimposed on the charts to determine the
right course.
