given data point. Thus, the code number has a very important function indeed.
From the given input data the map must be drawn. A programme has been written
for this purpose, which monitors the actual production of the map. This programme is
called data management. The data management cares that the proper data are
processed at the proper time instant with the proper module. A typical example of the
production flow, which is govemed by the data management, is shown in figure 2.
With the help of the data management programme all the maps of a project area can be
drawn one by one without further human interaction. An integrated System of
programmes is available, which enables a largely automated production of maps.
