teem klein geacht moeten worden. Een uitdaging voor
toekomstig onderzoek zal zijn om deze komplexe rari-
teiten en omstandigheden te vertalen naar een geauto-
matiseerd systeem voor kaartgeneralisatie.

De gekleurde proefpagina 'Trichromatic printing of Munsell
colours' is als losse bijlage in dit nummer van het Kartogra-
fisch Tijdschrift opgenomen. Deze bijlage is gedrukt op een
andere pers dan het eerste proef-kleurenschema. Daardoor
konden de oorspronkelijke inktdensiteiten niet worden geeve-
naard en wijken de kleuren op de bijlage meer af van de
Munsell-kleuren dan werd verwacht.
