The Water Management Information System (wis) contains
data about drainage and water supply, including infrastructu-
re waterways, artificial works, gauges etc.). TOPhoogteMD is a
data set containing in total 3.8 million spot heights. This is on
average one spot heightper hectare.
Each data set is described in terms of general aims, Contents,
digital format, application, up-to-dateness and availability.

teMD): deux bases de donnees completes du Service topographi-
que
Le Service topographique du 'Rijkswaterstaat' (Travaux Pu-
blics) realise plusieurs bases de donnees pour l'amenagement,
gestion et entretien du reseau routier national, des voies d'eau
et du littoral. La plupart des bases de donnees se limitent
l'infrastructure principale; deux couvrent, cependant, la tota-
lite du territoire du pays et sont analysees dans l'article.

The Directorate-General for Public

Ministry of Transport, Public Works and
Water Management produces and sup-
plies various types of data sets for the

tient des donnees sur les eaux interieures y compris l'infrastruc
ture (les voies d'eau, les ecluses et d'autres installations).
Le TOPhoogteMD (TOPaltitudeMD) est compose de 3,8 millions
depoints d'altitude, c'est-ä-dire en moyenne un pointpar ha.
L'objectifi le contenu, le format informatique, l'utilisation, la
mise jour et les conditions d'acquisition sont indiques dans
l'article, pour les deux bases de donnees.
