Nederlands Geodetisch Tijdschrift Geodesia
De Nederlandse Vereniging voor Geodesie, uitgeefster van
het Nederlands Geodetisch Tijdschrift (NGT), heeft besloten
per I januari 1980 toe te treden tot de Stichting Nederlands
Genootschap voor Landmeetkunde (NGL). Deze toetreding
houdt onder meer in dat het NGT gefuseerd wordt met het
tijdschrift Geodesia. Met ingang van genoemde datum zal dus
het NGT als afzonderlijk tijdschrift ophouden te bestaan.
Het nieuwe gefuseerde tijdschrift zal door de Stichting NGL
worden uitgegeven onder de titel:
The Nederlandse Vereniging voor Geodesie, publisher of
Nederlands Geodetisch Tijdschrift (NGT) has decided to join
the Stichting Nederlands Genootschap voor Landmeetkunde
(NGL, Foundation Netherlands Society for Land Surveying).
This affiliation implies, among other things, that NGT will
fuse with the monthly journal Geodesia. As from 1st January
1980, NGT will therefore cease to exist as a separate publi
cation. The result of the fusion is a new journal which will
be published by the Foundation NGL under the title:
De bestaande redactie van Geodesia is hiertoe uitgebreid met
twee leden uit de kring van de Nederlandse Vereniging voor
Geodesie: ir. B. H. W. van Gelder en ir. H. L. Rogge.
Het bestuur van de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Geodesie
beschouwt de samenvoeging van de twee tijdschriften als een
belangrijke ontwikkeling en wenst uitgeefster en redactie veel
succes toe. Het bestuur hoopt dat zij die tot nu toe het NGT
lazen hun belangstelling voor de Nederlandse geodetische
literatuur zullen blijven tonen door een abonnement op het
nieuwe tijdschrift te nemen.
Het NGT dat voor het eerst in januari 1971 verscheen was
een belangrijk element van de vernieuwing die toen in het
verenigingsleven plaatsvond. Nu er verdere ontwikkelingen
tot stand zijn gekomen en het NGT ophoudt te verschijnen
als afzonderlijke publikatie, wil het bestuur van de Neder
landse Vereniging voor Geodesie, namens de leden en namens
de lezers, een woord van hartelijke dank richten tot allen die
het NGT hebben gemaakt, speciaal tot de redacteuren. Zon
der aan de overige redacteuren te kort te doen mogen hier
wel in het bijzonder onze collega's worden genoemd die
onder de bescheiden naam van eindredacteur de hoofdver
antwoordelijkheid hebben gedragen: ir. J. van Mierlo (1971—
1974) en ir. R. van der Schans (1974-1979). Zij in het bijzon
der worden bedankt voor al het werk en de zorg die zij aan
het NGT hebben besteed.
Voor de diverse categorieën abonnees van het NGT is de
volgende regeling opgesteld.
1Leden van de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Geodesie ont
vangen het nieuwe tijdschrift uit hoofde van hun lidmaat
schap.
2. Betalende abonnees die gewend waren hun abonnement
stilzwijgend te verlengen zullen in het vervolg het nieuwe
tijdschrift ontvangen, tenzij zij aan de secretaris van de
Nederlandse Vereniging voor Geodesie te kennen geven
dit niet te wensen. De tarieven zijn als volgt:
Gewone abonnees 37,Buitenlandse abonnees 50,
Studenten 25,idem, in België ƒ42,50
65-plussers 25,idem, per luchtpost 60,
Losse nummers 7,50
Boekhandel ƒ31,45
Zij die eveneens op Geodesia waren geabonneerd zullen
het nieuwe tijdschrift als voortzetting daarvan ontvangen
tegen bovengenoemde tarieven.
3. Betalende abonnees die gewend waren hun abonnement
op het NGT jaarlijks te vernieuwen kunnen zich op het
nieuwe tijdschrift abonneren door zich op te geven als
abonnee bij:

Two members of the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Geodesie,
ir. B. H. W. van Gelder and ir. H. L. Rogge, have joined the
editors of Geodesia; together they will be the editors of the
new journal.
The board of the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Geodesie con
siders the fusion of the two journals an important event and
wishes the publisher and the editors every success. The board
hopes that the readers of NGT will continue to show their
interest in Dutch geodetic and surveying publications by sub
scribing to the new journal.
The NGT, which first appeared in January 1971, was an
important element in the re-shaping of Dutch associations in
the field of surveying that was effected at the time. Now that
a further development has taken place and NGT will cease
to be published as such, the board, on behalf of all members
and readers, wants to express sincere thanks to all who have
contributed to the making of NGT, and in particular to the
editors. Without detracting from the merits of the other
editors we must make special mention of the two colleagues
who as editor-in-chief have borne the heaviest responsibility:
ir. J. van Mierlo (1971-1974) and ir. R. van der Schans(1974-
1979). They deserve our special thanks for all the work and
care they have put into NGT.
In effecting the change to the new situation the following rules
will be applied.
1. Members of the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Geodesie
will automatically receive the new journal instead of NGT.
2. Subscribers who used to renew their subscription to NGT
automatically (i.e. tacitly) will from 1st January receive
the new journal, unless they inform the secretary of the
Nederlandse Vereniging voor Geodesie that they do not
want it. The rates are as follows:
Dutch subscribers 37,
Students 25,
Foreign subscribers 50,
Foreign subscribers (Belgium) 42,50
Foreign subscribers (Air Mail) 60,
Single copies 7,50
Those who were also subscribers to Geodesia will receive
the new journal as a continuation of their subscription, at
the rates mentioned.
3. Subscribers who used to renew their subscription to NGT
every year can order a subscription to the new journal by
